Willow, Cordelia and Buffy were normal sisters until the day Buffy was called to become the Slayer. Her Uncle Giles took the place of her Watcher and guardian to the sisters after their grandmother's passing.

After Grams' death, Buffy runs away to another state, leaving Willow and Cordelia to fend for themselves with the help of Giles against the forces of darkness and real life. Six months later, Buffy finds herself on their doorstep, setting off a chain reaction of events that endow the sisters with magickal powers beyond their imagination and control as they struggle with each other and the demons that a Slayer alone cannot stop.
